Michael Dittoe

"My four years at Fisher Catholic greatly prepared me for my undergraduate and graduate studies.  I am currently employed by the State of Ohio while also pursuing my Masters degree in public administration on full-scholarship from the University of Dayton.  I have a passion for public service and Fisher Catholic was the starting point that helped me develop and enhance that passion through their curriculum.   It was not just one class that helped me begin to decide what I wanted to with my life; it was a compilation of all of the classes I completed and the teachers who helped guide me through them.  I was able to take classes in history, government, advanced mathematics, computer science, theology, and others – all of which enabled me to be successful in my studies today.
The small class sizes as well as the caring and compassionate nature of each of the faculty members makes Fisher Catholic a well-respected name in the community.  I feel truly blessed having had the opportunity to attend Fisher Catholic – it was one of the best decisions I ever made."

Our Academic Programs

William V. Fisher Catholic High School is a four-year co-educational institution fully accredited by the Ohio Catholic Schools Accrediting Association. The curriculum consists of a college preparatory track and an advanced track. In addition to the college core, students are provided with electives in art, band, business, computer applications, computer science, consumer science, culinary arts, fine arts, mechanical drawing and various science fields.

Another important aspect of the curriculum at William V. Fisher Catholic High School is the study of Christianity. Theology courses are required all four years which teach the Catholic tradition. The theology classes are also designed to foster a personal relationship with the Trinity and a commitment to Christian living.

In addition to the above college preparatory curriculum, junior and senior students who qualify may pursue concentrated or advanced studies in a designated discipline through our Student Initiated Project program. The student and a mentor teacher design these courses. Students can earn up to one credit per school year in Student Initiated Projects.
