We
are extremely proud of the spiritual, curricular, and extracurricular
programs at William V. Fisher Catholic High School. Fisher
Catholic is dedicated to the Catholic values and Christian heritage
that provide the foundation for the development of character and
morality. Our college preparatory curriculum offers a wide range
of courses aligned to the college core along with advanced placement
and honors classes. The testimony from our graduates consistently
commends Fisher Catholic for its academic excellence and its
challenging curriculum.
The
Fisher Catholic community is built on a tradition that dates back to
1891 with the founding of St. Mary High School. In 1961 the
school was renamed as Bishop Fenwick High School to attract students
from a larger geographical area. Fisher Catholic opened in 1971
on a location to the north of downtown Lancaster and the past ten years
have been a period of steady growth. Today, Fisher Catholic
serves as a regional Catholic high school drawing students from the
Lancaster area as well as from the counties contiguous to Fairfield
County.
