After
eight seasons assisting in Ohio
and South Carolina, former
Wright State University captain
and Bishop Rosecrans
All-American Joe Bills is
entering his first year as head
coach of the Fighting Irish of
Fisher Catholic. Bills spent
three years at Bishop Rosecrans
as an assistant coach, seeing
the Bishops win back-to-back
district titles and the school’s
Fifth CCL crown. His four years
at Bluffton High School (SC) saw
the teams qualify for the state
playoffs twice and set a school
record for wins in a season in
2007. At New Albany High School
in 2011, Bills helped guide the
Eagles to a league title in the
vaunted Ohio Capital
Conference’s Capital Division.
The Eagles went on to their
best-ever record in Division I,
finishing as District
Runners-up. |
