Lancaster Rotary
Club. This service
organization for
young people dates
back to 1962 and
offers students ages
14 to 18 the
opportunity to serve
their school or
community, learn
about other
cultures, meet
people from other
countries, and
develop leadership
skills. Interact
clubs participate in
2 projects annually.
One benefits the
school or community.
The other promotes
world understanding.
Clubs determine the
projects and raise
any necessary funds
to support them.
Interact
participation
provides leadership
training, a chance
to fulfill community
service
requirements, and
can lead to college
