Clubs: Pro Life

Through Him was life and this life was the light of the human race; the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:4-5. Fisher Catholic Irish for Life is a proactive organization whose function/duty is to promote any and all pro-life issues among the faculty, staff, student population and community at large. We feel that God calls us to minister to all people from the womb until natural death and that God intends a world that seeks the goodness of life in all creation. The organization pledges to protect life in any form from any and all threats including, but not limited to abortion, euthanasia, assisted suicide, and the death penalty.

FCHS Pro-Life Club “Irish4Life” Covenant
In the Irish4Life Club, we are dedicated to giving our all in the journey to end abortion and increase respect for all human life from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death. The annual March for Life in Washington D.C. is a big part of what the Fisher Catholic Irish4Life Club does; however, it is not the only thing that this club hopes to accomplish. Other events will be offered throughout the year (Life Chain, 40 days for life, volunteer opportunities at PDHC, etc). Club members must take part in at least three club-sponsored events besides the March for Life. Along with these activities regular attendance and participation in Irish4Life Club sponsored prayer events is mandatory.

We will meet every Wednesday from 2:35 - 3:00. We will alternate club meetings with gathering to pray a “Rosary for Life”. It goes without saying that each member will also continually pray and sacrifice for an end to abortion and an increase in respect for life.
