Hi everyone! It's that time of year again! I wanted to write to inform you all of the
Walk to Defeat ALS. This is the annual fundraiser for the ALS Association.
Now is the time to logon and join our walk team: Iron
Horse! Last year we had SO many walkers and it was really great for Ben
and our family to see all the support. We raised over $20,000 for
the Association, and this year we want to top that. But we need your help!

The ALS Association has given us SO much and we would
be in big trouble without them. Here are some of the things they have
done:
-given us equipment to use at no charge: wheelchairs, walkers, transfer
discs, computer equipment, shower chairs, a lift recliner... All of these
things would have cost us thousands of dollars if we couldn't borrow them.
-given us free advice on everything from healthcare, doctors, therapists,
wheelchairs, etc.
-helped us to modify Ben's power wheelchair so that he could move around
independently
And much, much, more.
