Class Retreats

Kairos (November 17-19, 2011; March 1-3, 2012)
The Kairos retreat is an optional senior retreat that offers an experience that is beyond description. This retreat was begun by Al Kovacic in 2001-2002 and has continued to develop through the most beneficent graces of the Holy Spirit. Every year more seniors freely choose to attend and every year more students come away with a totally renewed view of the Catholic Faith; i.e. a personal view! The retreat really challenges the students to look deeply at their lives and their relationship with Christ so as to foster a personal and prayerful relationship with the Lord. This is a “must experience” during a student’s time here at Fisher Catholic.

Freshmen (January 19, 2012)
The freshman day of reflection is a day set aside during the school year for the ninth grade students to reflect more deeply on their relationship with Jesus and how prayer is the way to foster an ever deeper relationship with our Lord, Savior, and Friend.

Sophomores (January 20, 2012)
The sophomore day of reflection is a day set aside during the school year for the tenth grade students to learn the value of living a pure and chaste life. The self-destructive nature of sexual immorality is explored; but emphasis is placed on the virtue of chastity as a positive and integral state of soul for true freedom.

Juniors (TBA)
The junior retreat is an overnight retreat at Sts. Peter and Paul Retreat Center in Newark, Ohio. It is an opportunity for the students to reflect more deeply on their relationship with Christ and with one another. This retreat has been a very positive experience for many of our students and we trust that the Holy Spirit will continue to provide this positive experience of God’s love to students for years to come!
